Sea Breeze Lodge is located on Hornby Island, a Northern Gulf Island in Beautiful British Columbia, Canada.
Please be aware that there is no public transit on Hornby and no transportation system available to get you on the island from the mainland.
Directions
From Vancouver:
Depart Vancouver via Horseshoe Bay using the Departure Bay, Nanaimo ferry.
Follow unloading traffic off the ferry. Stay or move to the right-hand lane where you will go uphill and eventually hit the main highway intersection. Go North (right) towards Courtenay, Comox, Campbell River, etc. Follow the highway Northbound (through Nanaimo) and drive for approximately 30-45 minutes. Exit the Buckley Bay/Denman Island & Hornby Island Ferries turnoff (Exit 101).
Upon unloading on Denman Island, follow the traffic straight and stay on the main road. It will eventually take you to the other end of the island where you will board the Hornby Island ferry.
After arriving on Hornby, again follow the flow of traffic and stay on the main road. It will take you to a 4-way stop (here you will find the Co-op, gas bar, bike shop and several shops) where you will turn left. Drive straight and as the road begins to veer right you will see a 'Big Tree'. Turn left at that 'Big Tree' (there is directional signage to Sea Breeze located there). Drive to the end where you will turn right at Fowler Rd. Sea Breeze Lodge is located on the left hand side and our entrance is well marked.
